Dolly Parton Covering Stones, Skynyrd, Prince On Her Rock Album

Country music icon Dolly Parton has revealed some more details about her upcoming "rock album", that she will be releasing in honor of her induction this year into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.

Parton originally asked for her nomination be given to a deserving rock artist, but she later accepted the nomination and ultimately her induction, and said that she planned to make a rock album.

Charlatans UK and Ride Announce North American Coheadline Tour

The Charlatans UK and Ride have announced that will once again be teaming up, this time the acclaimed UK groups are banding together for a North American co-headline tour early next year.

The bands previously coheadlined the Daytripper concerts in Brighton and Blackpool back in 1993. This new tour is set to kick off on January 30th, 2023 at New York City's Webster Hall and will wrap up on February 18th at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA.

(hennemusic) Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant and Alison Krauss are sharing video of their performance of "Trouble With My Lover", from their new CMT Crossroads special.

Written by New Orleans music legend Allen Toussaint and initially recorded and released by Florida soul singer Betty Harris in 1968, the tune is featured on Plant and Krauss' 2021 album, "Raise The Roof", which highlights songs by legends and unsung heroes including Merle Haggard, The Everly Brothers, Anne Briggs, Geeshie Wiley, Bert Jansch and more.

Tempt have shared their cover of Billy Squier's 1980s classic, "Christmas Is The Time To say I Love You," which Squier originally wrote the song for an MTV Christmas promo featuring the original VJs.

ABBA Goes Metal With Amberian Dawn's 'Super Trouper'

Amberian Dawn have givens fans another taste of their symphonic metal makeovers of ABBA classics with the release of a lyric video for their take on "Super Trouper".

Axl Rose Addresses Mic Throwing Incident At Guns N' Roses Show

Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose took to social media to address reports that a fans was allegedly hit in the face by a microphone that he tossed into the audience at the conclusion of the band's concert at the Adelaide Oval in Australia last week.

Axl tweeted about the incident. He wrote, "It's come to my attention that a fan may have been hurt at r show in Adelaide Australia possibly being hit by the microphone at the end of the show when I traditionally toss the mic to the fans. If true obviously we don't want anyone getting hurt or to somehow in anyway hurt anyone at any of r shows anywhere.

Aerosmith Forced to Cancel Vegas Residency Show Due To Illness

Aerosmith was forced to cancel their Deuces Are Wild Las Vegas residency show on Friday night (December 2nd) hours before the performance due to an illness suffered by frontman Steven Tyler.

The veteran band are concluding the special residency at The Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas, NV this week, with scheduled shows still planned for this coming Monday, December 5th, Thursday, December 8th and Sunday, December 11th.

Carrie Underwood Announces 2023 Las Vegas Residency Dates

Carrie Underwood has announced that she has added 18 new 2023 shows to her REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency at Resorts World Theatre.

The new run of dates will be kicking off on June 21st, with additional shows announced in June, July, September, November, and December, concluding on Dec. 9th.

The Rocket Summer (multi-instrumentalist Bryce Avary) has released a brand new single and music video called "M4U". The song comes ahead of new music planned for next year.

Avary had this to say about the track, "The song is about longing and feeling a sense of belonging somewhere else, sometimes feeling like an alien, but someone or something is what makes this world feel like home.
