Being A Van Halen A Blessing And A Curse For Wolfgang

Mammoth WVH frontman Wolfgang Van Halen agrees that his famous surname is a both a blessing and a curse, and also revealed that he and his father, the late Eddie Van Halen, bonded over AC/DC.

Wolfgang spoke with Classic Rock about a variety of topics. During the discussion he was asked, "It must feel like a mixed blessing, with that enormous surname of yours, on the one hand having certain doors open to you but on the other hand really having to prove yourself." (read more)

Static-X Postpone Rise Of The Machine North American Tour

Static-X have been forced to postpone their Rise Of The Machine North American tour featuring Fear Factory, Dope, Mushroomhead and Twiztid and have revealed the rescheduled dates.

The 42-date tour has been postponed to next year and is now set to launch on February 25, 2023, in San Francisco, CA at The Fillmore and will conclude on April 15,2023, in Los Angeles, CA at the Belasco Theater. (read more)

Staind's Aaron Lewis Follows Surgery With Painful Kidney Stone

Staind frontman Aaron Lewis is not have a good year so far. The vocalist shared the news that he just passed a kidney stone as he recovers from surgery last week.

Aaron underwent surgery late last week to have his appendix removed. He took to social media on Tuesday to share the news that he had just passed a kidney stone. (read more)

The REELZ television network have announced that KISS stars Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, Jon Bon Jovi and Alice Cooper will be profiled in new episodes of Frontman next month.

The Jon Bon Jovi episode will premiere on Saturday, February 5th at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT, followed by KISS Frontmen: Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley on February 12th at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT and Alice Cooper's episode will launch on February 27 at 8pm ET/ 5pm PT. (read more)

Fitz and the Tantrums Announce Summer Tour

Fitz and the Tantrums have announced that they will be teaming up with St. Paul and the Broken Bones for a coheadlining tour of the U.S. this summer.

The summer trek will be kicking off on June 1st in Asheville, NC at Rabbit Rabbit and will wrap up on June 25th in Council Bluffs, IA at Harrah's Council Bluffs - Stir Concert Cove. (read more)

Neil Young with Crazy Horse have announced that they will be streaming their brand-new documentary "BARN" exclusively on YouTube beginning Thursday, January 20th, at 10:00AM PT.

Former Creed frontman Scott Stapp, Puddle Of Mudd and Sugar Ray have been tapped to headline the inaugural Honeymoon Rock Fest, which will be taking place in Oklahoma City on March 18 through March 20 at Remington Park.

The event will feature over 25 bands and is set to be hosted on MTV's Matt Pinfield. It will include performances from artists like Candlebox, Saliva, Fuel, Everclear, Saving Abel, Sister Hazel, Eve 6, Authority Zero, Powerman 5000, and more. (read more)

Metal Veterans Trauma Announce First European Tour

Metal veterans Trauma have announced that they have completed work on their next album and they will also be crossing the pond for their very first European tour this spring.

This idea of Blame The System came from the fact that I was frustrated with social media and media at large. Every Time I Die Members Leave Door Open To New Band Without Keith

Every Time I Die announced earlier this week that they have broken up, for what appears to have been differences between the band and frontman Keith Buckley.

While the band had no plans to continue under that name with a new vocalist, Jordan Buckley shared via Twitter that it is possible that he and Andy Williams, Steve Micciche, and Clayton Holyoak could possibly make music together again. (read more)

The Scorpions Deliver 'Rock Believer' Video

(hennemusic) The Scorpions are sharing a video for the title track to their forthcoming album, "Rock Believer." The title track follows the lead single, "Peacemaker", as the second preview ahead of the project's release on February 25.

The band spent much of the pandemic together in their hometown in Hannover, Germany working on their 19th studio set, which marks the first appearance of ex-Motorhead drummer Mikkey Dee on record with the group since his addition in 2016. (read more)

Clutch Announce North American Spring Tour

(hennemusic) Clutch have announced dates for a spring tour of North America. The Maryland rockers will begin the opening leg of the series - with guests Eyehategod and Tigercub - in Birmingham, AL on March 16; a second leg - which will see the group joined by The Sword and Nate Bergman - will start in Burlington, VT on April 27.

Clutch revealed last November that they had completed recording a new studio album, as fans await more details about the project. The band previewed a number of new songs during their 2021 shows, including "Strive For Excellence", "Nosferatu Madre" and "Slaughter Beach." (read more)
